Well Done to whomever it was that scored the 1" spike point Bengall last night! Super jealous of your acquisition although the finishing price of $141.50 (AU) was nearly double what I bid for it. It jumped $80 in the last 15 seconds with many bids placed.

Having said that do you think this guy will get his asking price? Antique CUT Throat Hand Forged Bengall Razor Made IN Sheffield England | eBay ??

I got in touch with him about the price (being 10x too high) and he respnded that he would send the razor too me if I could find another one like it... I sent him the picture of the five I had but kindly declined his offer lol... He took it down but has since re-listed it... maybe I should send him a few more and take it off him?

Anyway... To the winner of the pre-1890 1" Spike point, you ruined my Sunday night! Please post a pic once you have cleaned it up

Yet to find an 8/8 Bengall, probably the hardest to come across. Any links to that one? The other one looks well worn.

After making a bold statement like that, I wonder if he would have kept his word.

I had my eye on it to, more than double my bid though. It was also more like 15/16" looking at the photo unpess it was just the angpe.of the blade and tape but nice none the less
