Thanked: 634He I saw that. Posted it last week under something like "a beginners hone practice razor". And the price they are asking. Can't possibly be serious. God help the person that bids on it.

I can only think that had to be done intentionally as a prop, perhaps in a play or civil war re-enactment? No way a barber, homebody or even newbie just learning to hone would persist and put in the time to make an edge like that! Pretty incredible if that was actually from continued honing and used accordingly....... But also a word of caution, a narrow hone can get you on your way here if you don't know what you are doing if you are new to honing and you see a frown (or double frown) developing, please stop killing that blade and send it out to a pro! There only needs to be one razor in the world that looks like is
