People are truly crazy.Somebody just bought a 8/8 Wade &Butcher. The seller had even said it had a hairline crack in the blade. It sold for $110.00 wow. A display piece I suppose. The item number was 261907340088. Shows you what the hot items are.

Depending how bad the crack really is it may also make a nice shaver. There is a chip that will have to be honed out. If it was a hollow ground I wouldn't say that but those old wedges are very solid.
This is not to say I would sell something like that or buy one. Just saying " to each his own"Phrank likes this.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I have an 8/8 W&B Celebrated Hollow Ground FBU, has a tiny hairline crack towards the heel of the razor, shaves fine (wasn't listed that way, but got 3/4 off the price from the seller, so ended up about the same dollar amount as this one), can barely see it, only thing I have to be careful about when it's hits the stones (hasn't needed to yet) and little extra care stropping...I don't really use that one..but it is fine...for what it is, I think the razor is probably not a bad deal considering one of those could easily get close to $400.00 and I've seen them go for a lot more...
