I bought last time. One of my favorite shavers. Glad to see it wasnt a one time good deal. Enjoy! I'm currently thinning the herd -- AD recovering.

Ignore it. It is a Thiers-Issard made with c135 steel. Same as those sold by other sellers. I dont know why they put that caveat. I've had mine awhile and it looks just like when I bought it, same as my other TIs.

Ok here it is. Put it on my coti for 20 strokes then 25 strokes on the webbing 50 strokes on the leather. shaves like a champ. shaves better than by 6/8 Special Coiffeur. Name: 11412281_10153158996103423_5216356659331780881_o.jpg

Just received mine last week. Great service and delivery time from Lehman's. The etching on mine was a little flawed--the bison in gold was just off center by a little bit. I did three passes on a Swaty and then about thirty on a coticule with soapy water and then 50 on linen and 100 on leather.

Shave was excellent--in fact it was so comfortable that the etching issue is moot. The scales are nice-just the right amount of tension and blade closes perfectly centered. I'm very happy with this razor even though cosmetically its not perfect.

Thanks to the OP for the heads up on this one!

Damn it they are out, I found a coupon on line that gave 30% off as well so it would have paid for the shipping.
A good lather is half the shave.
