Size: 33.5 KB I saw this on eBay and noticed that I think 6 folks bid on it. The front don't look to bad but the back shows what I believe to be a serious crack. about 2/3 the way through the middle of the blade. If i'm seeing right I would have kept the scales and thrown the blade away. The eBay photo shows the crack better. eBay no. 251996913629. I believe the price on it now is just under 25.00. folks see the gold wash and don't look further I guess. At least the folks were honest and told about the fractures.

The pictures you posted are resized to too small to show the crack but here are cropped versions from the originals that show it clearly on both sides. The listing description has it so whoever paid $45 has no excuse. In fact looks like two snippers both at $45 and the one who did it a second earlier is the winner. Pretty high feedback too, so presumably they know what they're getting themselves into.

They must have just wanted the scales or they saw it at the last minute and didn't read or notice the crack. all they saw was the gold wash. just a guess.

I know I wouldn't be paying $45 plus postage for it.
