Lesson learned
ALWAYS . . . ask to confirm shipping charges if they are not listed. Otherwise, you may find that the Seller wants to ship in a USPS Medium Flat Rate Box and charge over $65.00USD for the privilege. *sigh* What's that line about "too good to be true"?
Aahh well, was bound to be a little rain on this parade some time. No real harm done, but that might have been a decent little shaver.

Thanked: 4827That is the one and only time I backed out on an ebay sale. Perhaps the same seller. The listing said will ship to Canada with no price. I try to always check before hand.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

That's just crazy money for postage. Some people really don't want to help facilitate a reasonable transaction. Best to give them a wide berth.

New invoice this a.m. for$25.00 in a Flat Rate envelope. More reasonable, but still irksome overall.

That is frustrating! I'm not sure, other than just to screw people out of money, why some choose to rack those Shipping Charges like that... There are so many resources where customers can check shipping costs that I can't imagine they are successful often. ?!
I've often wondered if some out there are kinda Serial-Killer-ish with their sales where they are not satisfied unless they do a demonstrable level of financial harm to someone. I can see a bump of a buck or so to cover gas and misc small stuff but these numbers are nuts... Same price you see for 2nd Day or Overnight Shipping.
Just very, very weird to me.
