Great Purple Slate....they are nice ones ;-) ok other way around its not a Charnley if this helps in any way.....

For shure its impossible to determine where they are from, especially without any lable....but i like to name my as a "Yellow Lake" Stone, because the origin of mine f.ex. was UK and they work in ranges like "labelled" stones do...so i prefer to call them as is....

Would be lousy annoying to say i have 10 nice slates laying around, one is red the other black the third gray....
