At least I've never seen one like this, but I'm new. I just started the other thread here asking for advice on the eBay Puma, and then I saw this as well.

Any thoughts? Worth trying for?

That IS an unusual blade.
Not that I'd buy it. I mean come one. There is no rust, no hone wear, no pitting.. what fun is that?
(In case you hadn't yet noticed, that is why I wear my title with pride. )

seriously, this is a very nice blade, but I don't like anything below 11/16, or at least 5/8. smaller than that and it ain't touching my face.
not that there is something inherently wrong with 4/8, but I just don't like them.
