Thanked: 237i would never chance it on a sello oro. I bought a #13 sub zero NOS, and the dang thing isnt hardened at the toe. Takes a nice edge everywhere else, just not 1 cm worth of the toe.

Didn't notice that...you're right, it's a Sello Oro, I bought an NOS #13 Sub Zero as well, as far as I'm concerned it's a completely different "brand", completely different beast than the old Filarmonica's...again, just my opinion, but for me, it's only a Filarmonica in name, that's about it...YMMV.

You know what, I didn't think about that. Thank you all. I noticed it doesn't even have the Jose Monserrat Pou name on it! My bad for posting it.

I'm ok Dave. Sometimes I miss some things, after all we aren't perfect. And like I said, I may be 59 but I learn something everyday.
I'm still trying to get over Neil's passing but I was thinking awhile ago, the forum must go on, unfortunately w/o him but not the knowledge & humor he shared with us. May we all learn from him. He will always be remembered!
May He Rest In Peace!
