    Default Nice-looking Masonic razor

We are always poking fun at listings here, but has anyone seen this? The seller is in Russia.
I wonder if our Masonic brethren can look and see if all is right? He scrimshaws all of this upon scales which he made.

    Seems remarkable to me!

That razor is in remarkable condition and the scales are fantastic!

Nice looking razor! I am a Freemason; I looks like it has fairly accurate decorations on the blade to me. The markings on the scales don't seem familiar, though I've never participated in the various traditions beyond the "blue lodge." For instance I think the snake "Staff of Asclepius" is just the symbol of the medical profession.

I thought so as well. Am not a Mason, but have learned a bit on the symbols. What is upon the blade is certainly accurate.
It was done for the brotherhood a century ago. The artist has done a wonderful job on the scales, but a great deal I do not recognize. Perhaps is representative of a razor for a doctor who was a Mason?

The scrimshaw is really nice. Very finely done. A real artist.

I wish my W&B freemason blade was in as good condition as that one! Mine has a big black spot on it. That scrimshaw work looks awesome in the pictures.

Any chance of getting a hi-res image of that etching?
