Thanked: 0Unlisted Henckels
I was looking through Ebay and found this razor. It looks pretty sweet and it isn't listed as a Henckels in the title so I thought I'd let anyone interested here know about it.
Here's the link.

Thanks for the heads up Ivan. However, someone might have been sitting there hoping to snag this one under the radar (personal experience lol)

Thanked: 9True true...
However, I find that Tommy has a different understanding from what we call a super razor / no damage, and his starting prices aren't that cheap to begin with (most times) One way or another, many people watch his razors because he does come up with interesting stuff - so not much of a chance getting something from him for a super steal or under the radar
But you're right, Ilija - nothing worse to sit and watch something hoping for a nice score and then see it posted in the forum
Cheers

Thanked: 0True. I was thinking about the guy here who may have missed it and might want it. It didn't cross my mind that there may be someone sitting at home in front of their computer hoping that everyone missed it! I apologize if you are that guy,
I'll keep it on the QT next time.

I made the same mistake by posting Dubl Ducks some time back, although, if I remember correctly, it actually helped a forum member pick up a few. But I've not done it since. And I'll be off the crutches in a few more weeks!

Yeah, vultures like me look for these to swoop in and snatch. But I'll stay out of this one. I've got plenty of fine vintage shavers and am soon going to be looking for someone who can restore razors. I gonna have their celluloid scales removed and replaced with a more modern and stable material.

Whether or not one should post about auctions like this seems ethically ambiguous. By not posting about the auction, a would-be poster helps a small number of SRP members who stumbled upon it and are hoping for a bargain. By posting about the auction, he helps a large number of SRP members who might be interested in such a razor.
