This is a much better option.

(For you American chaps, the sellers name refers to foot ware)

That needs a bunch of work but yes the price is more realistic.

A fool and his money are soon parted It still amazes me what people will try to get for razors on the bay.

I think it would be a fun Social Experiment to set up a few of these type sales and use it as an educational tool... Similar to the group that was running fake-fake email fishing scame that, after the Link was clicked, took the person to an educational page explaining some ins/outs of Razor Pricing.

I've never had the issue with razors that I sold as I just don't ask that much but we once had an Ad for a good condition swingset up locally for FREE and 30 days later still no sale... I changed the Ad to ask $100 and it sold the next day and even after I explained to the buyer my situation and that she was more than welcome to it for no charge she insisted on paying $50. ??!!??!!

I would love to know what drives these results... Maybe competitive bidding but seems unlkely that would be the whole answer.

You get what you pay for seems to be ingrained in people's minds. So they have a problem with free stuff.

But then; you were supposed to give a gratuity to your executioner!?!!?

I recently went back to the scene of a crime. A person wanted an espresso machine I had. The price was to be $200. When I was not happy with the way it was working, I told her only $100. Well, lo and behold, I stopped bye the store yesterday and she wrote me out a check for another hundred and would not take no for the answer. I do not mind, she was happy and I am ahead for something I may want.

You were also to give a gratuity to the boatman on the river Styx to get to Hades.

The money to the Executioner was to ensure a "clean" cut. The pennies on your eyes for the ferryman was to pay the toll, and was usually done by your friends or family.
