Wapienica special
For those of you that love the wapienica razors wojtec offers, here is a slight variation on the steel scaled ones he sells.
I stumbled into it on a polish auction site, I don't know if it is the same quality as the surgical razors, but as it is named 'special razor' maybe it is even better?

Dang, why didn't I take Polish instead of Mandarin????
Anyways, I'd be more inclined to take one of Woj's and have it rescaled.
Hmmmmmmm
Might be time to reorder from Woj and do just that.
Dang this RAD.

Thanks for the warning wojtec! I was wondering what they would be like with a plastic handle, but if it is bad quality then I don't think I will bother.

Thanked: 0I took Russian at school - when I'm drunk, I can almost understand Polish :-).
I'd say that one of the stainless handled Wapienica's would make an ideal rescaling project. Better check in the Restorations forum to see if there are any really tasty scales on offer.

Oddly enough, a couple of days ago I decided to remove the scales from one of my Wapienica's and put on a set of Dovo Ebony scales I got from Classicshaving.

Here's what it looks like now, sorry for the crappy photo but you should get the idea. Incidentally the razor is shorter than an 'average' Dovo so it looks like the scales are a little too long, if I'd had time I'd have cut them back and drilled a new hole but I couldn't be bothered. It's a regular user for me and I think it looks fine.
