Thread: Just Won This Bengall, Thoughts?

I'm trying to sell some of my razors right now, but I thought this might be a good chance to try a new 'name' without spending too much. I didn't think it looked too bad, but others here may think differently. Anyway, here is a link.

At that price you've little to lose! Should be good for honing practice at a minimum.

Maybe this will work.

Hard to tell due to the poor photography, but It looks promising.

If its solid it will turn out ok
All my Bengalls are great shavers

Normal razor blade and can be restored to shave.

I think that may be why it didn't have more interest. The pictures weren't that good, but you could tell it had some rust and pitting. It looks like it has a bit of hone wear, but hopefully not too much.

Yeah, I'm glad I got it for the minimum. If I don't like it, I shouldn't have any trouble getting my money back with it cleaned up and honed.

I've been interested in the Bengalls. I know they have a following here, like the W&B, DD, Wostenholms, etc.

Bengalls are great shaving razors and very under-rated. had one a while back, screwed up, screwed up and sold then wished I had it back, got another one and plan on keeping it.

looks to me like you got some bang for your buck! great little razor right there, t r cadman made some fine shavers by anyones standard
