    Simple, It is to draw someone unprepared to buy it. The heel of the blade has been ground away till there is only a short bit left and the other is only a Duram/Duplex.

    The better offer may have been crazy low compared to the asking. We have no idea what it actually sold for, well maybe someone can figure it out but not me.

    It says 'best offer accepted', so it may have sold for 99c
    I seem to remember ebay showing the price it sold for when it was done through the best offer but I guess they no longer do that.

    in all seriousness i do like me a harrison bros & howson, good quality and usually a bit overlooked so the competition isnt so tough to win one
