I agree!
That razor doesn't look like it has been used at all......
Would be a great Christmas present for me....... (hint hint)
Showed my wife it...... Said "No effing way!"
Is it over there or over yonder?

Oh, it's been used plenty. There's a corrosion line at the point of the blade where it was regularly put away wet, but somebody sanded it out partially. Very nice job on the sanding. It mimics the original glaze-finish, and it was undoubtedly in good condition to begin with. But it's pretty far from pristine.

I think the key words here are "near mint". As Voidmonster and ScienceGuy have tellingly observed this razor has been cleaned up, and possibly quite a lot; not that there's anything wrong with that... But I would love to see a photo of how it looked when it was found.
That said, I still think it's a great piece and the value will be established by the marketplace.

For me the question is did the seller intentionally mislead potential buyers. Was he the one who saw the razor in its found condition?
