Mastero Livi Shorty
So, I am surprised this didnt go higher then it did... Mastro Livi Custom Short Straight Razor with Case | eBay I tossed out a mid-range price for a Mastro Livi blade, and thought I wouldn't win. I did... and for quite a bit lower then my max bid.
Other then a small bit of surface rust that looks like it would be easy to clean, and a little bit of uneven hone wear on one side, I dont see anything that would keep the price low... except for it being less then 2" long!
Perfect for me at that length.
Think the price came in low because of the length?
Oh, and my apologies to any shaving brother here on SRP who may have been the one who was trying to out bid me.Recovered Razor Addict

Livi simply isn't known in this country in the general population. I have sold some livi's that went for a steal literally.

I have a NICK Zowada, but I love that blade... it isnt going anywhere. Not that people are throwing money at his blades like they do for his dad's work. At least not yet, anyway.
Yep. Was that you who I outbid? If so, like I mentioned.. sorry, mate. I figured it was likely that I would be in a battle with someone on here.Recovered Razor Addict

The size does knock it down some I,m sure , a couple years ago I got a Max Sprecher much cheaper than I thought I would and it's a beautiful razor that really trims my Vandyke clean, but as for the whole shave it's not something I would use that way. Tc

I would guess the length had a lot to do with it, but nice find anyways! Let us know how it shaves!!

Thanked: 169I always thought selling someone else's custom razor can be as tricky as selling a custom car or motorcycle. You have to find the right buyer with the same taste at a time he or she has the cash and is in a buying mood. You will find deals as a buyer and take hits as a seller. A Bill Ellis went for criminally low a year and a half ago or so.

Thanked: 228Yeah, I was watching that too. I decided that it was much too short for me even though I do have a few kamisoris that are pretty short too. Nice razor though. Good catch if the size was ok for you.
