Mercadolibre is just the Latin America ebay site. Same rules apply.
I would not buy anything from a vendor who wasn´t pleased to talk with me first, although I bought my MK1 helje through this site without any problem. Feedback from vendor is a must for me. Being a antiquarian digger oftem makes me cry for discount as a motherless banshee, as learned from my first employer, a Lebanese businessman. I am so poor.

Robin,
I am wondering if your procurement of those blades was either over a decade ago or from a generally unavailable to typical public source like the bay… I'm just trying to gauge the current validity of that comment, since that seems a bit off from what I've been seeing in the market.
When you mention "well made", what are we talking about? Blade material/grind or scale material or aesthetics like etch/wash/spine work?

Thanked: 16914 blades are awesome so long as they are near their original spec height. They take on really unpleasant handling characteristics the shorter they get. The balance and feel go out the window which is bad news on steel that takes a particularly vicious edge. I had an ern 14 that ripped me apart every time. I'd rather have a lot of other razors over a 14 even though they are top quality.

I bought this one roughly two years ago off eBay. It was €35. The one below was €15, also off eBay. As you can see, nondescript scales (thank God), and very well pinned. Extreme hollow grinds, close to the best made #14 blade I own, the Mehl in the Wiki. Granted, you need to know what to look for, but it is entirely possible.

Thanked: 480Its not a big deal if I don't ever hear back. I don't need a Palmera. I just want to be able to say I have one. I have lots of better blades. If I wanted one bad enough, there is a certain some one who I'm sure I could toss large sums of cash at who would be able to locate "one" for me.
