    Default Favorite Razor?

What is your favorite razor, brand, size, ... and why? looking to double my collection from one razor to two, or more, and would appreciate a little input into the different razors, sizes, etc. and where to get them.

It used to be my ERN 45 razor: very heavy 7/8 blade.
Recently I laid my hands on a lot of 3 Rich. Abr. Herder 326 5/8 razors NOS in original box and greasy paper.
They are the lightest weight razors I have ever seen but I do not own more than 10 razors.

They came almost shave sharp, 20 laps on the Escher and I got the 1st one sharp. What it lacks in weight and size it makes up in sharpness. Although it does not say on the box IMHO they are extra hollow ground making a singing sound when stropped.

I have two more, some staining on the spine but not anywhere near the cutting edge. I might be willing to part with the remaining 2. As I am not a honemeister I will hone it for free if you like. PM me if interested for pics. Pics size is too much for SRP's attachment manager.

Mine's the Taylor's Eye Witness 6/8 stiff full hollow round point. There's something about the steel on that one that makes it just eat up the stubble and leave me with an amazingly close shave. These puppies are severely underrated, but I'm not complaining as I got 2 of them for 7-8GBP with shipping and another one as a gift (thanks Ivo )

I'm bouncing between two makes at the moment, Ducks and W&B's. Some of the heavy duty blades apeal to me as I like heavy kitchen knives as well (cleavers). It will be interesting to see where this all goes

Out of 5 my favourite is the Dovo 5/8 Bismarck. My first and, as yet, unsurpassed. Not even my TI beats it for weight, feel, and shave. The Dovo seems to have everything right in terms of balance, weight, and design.

Is that the one you got from me Ilija?
I have another 6/8" Taylor’s 1000 with broken scales, should I fix it up and keep it for my self?
