Default Saw this ad for a Stephan from Solingen...

Right now there's a blade going for 19.99. I've never heard of Stephan, didn't see it on any of SRP's lists of blades to trust/avoid, and SRP also mentions, "Razors marked "Solingen" that were actually forged in Solingen are good blades... Seller doesn't know much about blades.

Is Stephan a solid line of blades? How do I tell the difference between a blade forged in Solingen and one not forged in Solingen?

I'm looking to step up to a more advanced blade, figured SRP's folks could help me with this one. Thanks!

In case you are not aware, that appears to be a shavette, not a straight razor. It uses disposable blades.

To be more exact, it is a hair shaper. It originally came with a removable guard/comb.
