Thread: Cell rot?

eBay item number 201546330577. Is this cell rot? There is not a clear spot on the blade. Could be bad pic's but the scales display ok. Or could it have been stored with another razor with cell rot? I have a satin wedge blade i'm looking for scales for. Thanks.

That Duck is cooked and the scales are not worth saving. Except as ways to get the onlays.

I agree. I was just throwing this out there. I have never saw a blade that bad. The seller claims to have removed the active rust. Amazing.

If he actually did get all the rust off, then he'd be left with a small ring around the pivot.

Like I said, this is priceless. The razor should have no price.

I wouldn't buy that for 10 cents. Cell rot almost 100% sure

That is incredible. It is so extreme I could not believe it. Imagine that in with your collection. That off gasing is some powerful stuff.

Ron, I thought about posting that one, but as all of his photos were, it is so out of focus that I chose the 'best' of the lot. The out of focus shots make me wonder if the seller is clueless, or sly as a fox. Probably the latter.
