Hopefully he or she gets paid.. People who run up items and don't deserve to be banned but they just get wrist slaps...

Ha! I was watching this one. Couldn't believe it. This was for a 6" version. I posted a 7" version up here a couple weeks ago with the original stamps and didn't get a sniff. Maybe I'll throw it up on the bay after seeing this go for this much.

And therein eBay is explained - that there is in fact, no explanation for why items go for the prices they do on any given item, on any given day....by all rights, you should expect $900 bux plus shipping for yours!!!

I've almost always done better on eBay but I just hate paying that damn 10% + 3% for paypal. Oh well. $300 for that extra inch of stone? Sounds like i'm listing it tonight! Just need to copy and paste his listing with my own pics haha.

I've seen Pikes coticules fetch good money before. Not sure why. Someone might know something about them that we don't.

I betcha he bought this at some flea market or antique store for $20.00, then hits gold because 2 people are idiots. JMHO of course. It can't be any better than a 8k Norton or a 12k Shapton. I wonder if the guy is going to put it on his book case shelf just say "look what I have!" or is actually planning on using it for what its made for?.
