Thread: A razor with fancy scales and a... corkscrew????

    I'm playing around with forging my first razor and am now sorely tempted to turn the tang into a corkscrew...


    It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
    This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    I know those scale collectors are serious about their passion but I've never seen one go that high.

    I've been thinking about the utility of that corkscrew and I wonder if the scales could long survive if someone actually used the thing to open a bottle of wine ?
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I'm thinking you'd need a titanium pin and carbon fiber scales for it to actually work.

    Klas TornBlom is a pretty famous cutler if I'm not mistaken. Top notch rich guy razor.

    The razor is for the spa and making your lady Bald and fresh smooth legs, if ya get my drift.
