    Default Attn: Chicago area folks!

With my idle time, I've been expanding my methods & sources for finding straight razors for sale through means OTHER than the 'Bay. But... I can not condone me buying more razors at this time.

So, folks in the Chicago area, I present to you an estate sale in Cicero, IL.

It starts June 15th, here is a taste...

Oh, and there are more than just razors at that sale. Enjoy! And try not to get into "Black Friday" style fistfights over the razors.

That would put a dent in my wallet. I love antique hunting. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I've subscribed to a notification e-mail from this site for quite awhile, estatesales.net. They list hundreds of sales going on each week with pics and some short descriptions of items for sale.

    p.s. Nice haul!

Indeed; it's a nice haul for whomever goes to that estate sale. I'm currently on a spending freeze until such a time that I've restored & sold a few of the ones I already have . Funds are tight, and it does no good to buy ones in "rusty gold" condition if I don't spend the time to fix them up.

I might post other "hot tips" in this subforum in the near future. It has become habit to check various sites when I have downtime, despite the spending freeze.
