Thanked: 39RAD Rears its head again
Well, I just had to hit E-Bay and see what was happening and the next thing I knew my bank is $175.00 poorer! I did get some nice razors and bought a few for the new guy that has joined and whom I met on Sat. I picked up a couple of nice Landers Frary & Clarks, a Griffon 60XX, a Worchester and a Clauss 6/8ths and 2 others, All these razors did come with their boxes. Also I have bids on 2 more razors. Heeeeelp!!.

Thanked: 39I didn't get that one, I bought the 6/8ths one that came with the original box. Item No. 391561908895. I am trying to get a 7 day set together and put them in the rotation. I already have a 8 day set of Landers Frary & Clarks, and a 8+ day set of W.H. Morley & Sons, and one of these days will have a 7 day set of Henry Sears & Son 1865's but these are hard to find in good shape. The Landers, and the Morley's I have found will hone up easy and maintain a very sharp edge by using a pasted strop and a few swipes on the leather every 3rd. shave. The Clausses have turned out to be very nice also. Also the Keen Kutters I have are very nice, a bit harder to get a good edge but once its "Shave Ready" it has kept its edge.
