I have an offer and counter offer in on this item but not 100% sure if it is what I think it is.
Looks like a Thuringian but I know that there were older norton "man made" hones that were similar.
Can anyone identify what it is?

Thanked: 480Those photos just are not enough to go with. But my thought is, were not most of the "man made" stones 6" and NOT 7"? Its a gamble, but it is a nice box even if it turns out to only be good for your kitchen knives, it will look good back on the wall where it belongs
