Thanked: 0Need advice on several razors
So I've been surfing around ebay and there seems to be some decent stuff around, especially on the ebay.co.uk site. The good well-known razors on the british site don't seem to get the same attention they get on the .com site. This is also beneficial for me since I lived in the Netherlands close to the UK. There are several auctions I'm looking at, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to the actual value of these razors and whether they would be good to bid on at current prices.
Here is the first thing I'm looking at - a pretty 3 razor set from norwich, england:

This razor looked to be in great condition and it doesn't look like it is getting too much interest. Nice Dovo: http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...4080&rd=1&rd=1
And finally I'm not wild about this razor, but if I can pick it up at 6 bucks I think it would probably be a steal, tell me what you think: http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...3662&rd=1&rd=1

Well they all look like fine razors to me. The price will almost definitly sky rocket on the first 2 so we will just have to wait and see! but as for value its hard to tell, the Dovo is very nice as well as the 3 razor set im sure there worth over a Hundred (US) easily.

the third one looks to have a frown in one of the pics...I would stay away from it.
The set of three should go at a signficant price...or at least I would expect it to exceed the price the seller stated.
The dovo looks to be in good condition, and will probly be a good razor.
That's my stab at em.

Most street smart bidders use a sniping program that will not send a bid until the very last seconds. That is the flaw in ebay, the certain ending time, and that is why sniping works. Some people look for auctions that have lots of bids under the assumption that means something. Perhaps, perhaps not.
Sniping helps eliminate 'nibblers' that bid because they wonder what your max may be, helps with any shills, in particular the outrageous "I missed a decimal or meant 50, not 500 BS , removes those that may track you if you have a reputation of finding the buy of a lifetime
Go with a known seller. Buy from the B/S/T forums.

Never heard of a Norwich razor, so you may suffer a little in steel quality.
The Solingen should be good, but you'll want to reshape that blade.
Get 'em cheep.
