Good luck getting the post office to honor your insurance. The burden usually falls on the seller. The last time I had an issue I was the seller on eBay. The buyer claimed they never received the package. The PO confirmed that they never delivered it. So I refunded the money. But the PO never honored the claim. All they would say is that sometimes there are significant delays and because they didn't have the package tracked down, they couldn't honor the claim. But that defines the word missing/lost. I suppose if you have an unlimited amount of time and energy, you might prevail. I ran out of both after getting nowhere.
