Thread: Very nice razor lots up on the bay

A lot of the lots have hencles razors in very good condition, few japenese razors and I saw one with a dorko. I believe I saw about 3-5 lots each lot being 200-300$ with 3-5 excellent condition razors. I was really considering picking up a lot but letting it pass. I think the vendor is trying to get rid of inventory. I typed in straight razor went to buy it now and newly listed and you will see them (from japan vendor)

I think they're probably getting lots out of japan and then listing them on ebay (they might even be getting the lots from someone else and just listing them for a margin).

There seem to be a million friodurs in japan, and if you can track them down directly over there, they're a little cheaper than ebay, but throw in a dorko or globusmen and there are enough people doing that that it's really not much difference in price when the dust settles.

The market (for buyers) for gently used stuff that is slightly off name is a lot better over there than here, though. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the people selling in japan realize they can do better if they just list those lots on ebay and go straight to the end market.
