Thanks for the tip, bro... I stuck my neck out and bid on it, even though my grasp of German is pretty weak... We'll see what happens.

That is a nice razor but the scales are fantastic!

    Interesting, indeed! Thanks for sharing

I don't think the razor can be well-balanced... and 3 pins on a W&B (or any antique Sheffield blade, for that matter) - not my cuppa tea, but this is obviously personal preference (I love 3 pins on new-er razors)

    Cheers

Unique. I personally don't care for the scales, but it is a visually striking razor.

    Did anyone catch this one?

I was sorely tempted, but the starting bid price put me off - for an extra 50 bucks I could get a Papabull custom...

BTW, the same seller also had what looked like a nice Goldenedge which I think did actually sell.

i think thats the third round that W&B has made on ebay from that seller. I brought it up on the first go around and most agreed that it's way overpriced but the seller just doesn't get the clue.

OK. I'm glad I went with my head and not my heart!

Oh my! Those scales look sooo delicious! But I'm buying a new Thiers-Issard (possibly another one when the new line comes out).... And that translates to $168.14 USD

If I'm not mistaken, those scales were made by Papabull!

That's his pin work, and orynx is a material he often uses!!
(Check out my Wacker Repin he did for me:
