    I am pretty sure that this would be a bit ungainly. Maybe its a good project if you cut it up though.

    Someone took a blade with no or broken scales and inserted it in the antlers. Not very practical.

    Upon further review, you could shave with the blade and pick your ear with the antler part. Maybe this is a practical extension of the razors roll.

    I am lead to believe that someone has taken a broken razor and made a patch knife out of it. It is for cutting patches for muzzle loaders now.

    not even very practical for a patch knife. Not sure what you would use it for. Looks kind of funky up by the tang like it was brazed or something. A real shame for sure.

    Interestingly, old Japanese swords had two smaller metal items that stuck into the sheath. The end of one of them was meant for cleaning ears. I learned about this from a guy whose dad brought one home from WW2.

    The pick below looks like a reproduction, though it shows the two pieces.
