    OK, I had to share - this is like a where's Waldo, can you spot all of the problems with this auction? Let's see if I got it right...

    OK, Henckels blade, with a bite out of the toe -
    Boker scales (see the tree?)
    Wostenholm box (Nice IXL)
    AND the blade is possessed, kind of like the car Christine, I guess - see the last blade picture, lower right? Bite at toe GONE...

    Gave me a smile this morning, needed one after watching the news.

    Thanks for posting that Fraken Razor. It really gave me a good laugh this afternoon.

    You are right......It must be a "Christine blade" with the self repairing blade!

    Look at the blade again... i thought maybe the guy damaged it when shooting the pictures ... but the shank is different... and the last picture does not have a shoulder... or is it just me?

    infact it is the boker from their other auction

    Good spot - you can see the stabilisers are different between the toe-chipped one and the last photo.

    Less Franken razor, and more "Doctor Jeckyll and Mr Hyde".

    Very well spotted mate...

    I saw that one last night and thought about emailing the vendor to ask about the boker scales on a henckels razor but figured the chip in the blade would probably stop anyone getting caught out by bidding on it.

    If you got it for 0.99c you've probably got a salvagable and hard to come by set of scales though.

    You guys should be ashamed of yourselves - don't you recognise a rarity when you see one? This is in fact a 1914 Boker-Henckel hybrid special made for the troops in the trenches, with special anti-sniper non-reflective blade patination and upper-lip-avoiding blade tip concavity feature for cold days. Jeez, call yourselves razor experts..... (sorry couldn't help myself.)
