Thanked: 3227Anyone find the 3 pin scales a little odd for that razor and time frame?

The very best thing about this is that these cost no more than the regular ones when they were new. They’re rare because most users didn’t want them!

Saw that one. Hah! I wish.
I really hope it gets excellent scales.
A thought comes to mind... "Sell off several nice razors and it could be yours! Do it. Just do it. The kids could go to Disney World and forget the whole experience in a month.. But this axe will last a lifetime! Do it."

Ya know....The more I look at it. Looks like a bit of a regrind? Perhaps a bit short? Something is wrong at the notch.
Scales. A bit long on the blade yet all looks it to me.......I think short...........Tang is 3/4 as long as the blade.........Edge issues at the heel.

Well, my first take was that something was off with the dimensions, but then again I know little about a lot of sweet nothing's..
If it is not as pristine as the bidders thought, and if the price was over-inflated because of that, perhaps the winner will enjoy it regardless of whether or not he knows.
It would drive me crazy. Shorties are Shorties and I like them, but it would change the price point for me.“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

Thanked: 480I saw it, and dismissed it. Possible weak point/crack
I cant see putting that kind of money into a possible problem. Just as soon save up big bucks and buy a perfect example.
