Thanked: 328What's up with the ducks?
So I was thinking this morning about my old razors.. I had about 10 really good razors that went missing.. About 3 DD's along with other really nice razors...
So I went to eBay to see what was around, and I found this:

Are Double Duck razors not the hot item they were a few years ago? Granted, it's not one of the super nice handles, but it's still a duck...

It doesn't have its original scales, the photos don't show the condition of the blade, and there is still more than a day left for the auction to be run up. To me, considering all those things, $30 seems like a highish current bid.

Thanked: 9yah, ducks are overpriced to begin with, and for this one I'd say even $30 is a stretch - can't see the condition, who knows what the scales are... Nevertheless, I am sure someone will step in at the last second and bid some more
Cheers

Thanked: 328I was also quite surprised to see the lack of ducks hanging around on eBay.. At least from the last time I looked (Which was about a year ago).. Used to be there was some around all the time..
Ah well.. Just reminiscing... We old people tend to do that ..

If you look at the regular examples like the goldedges and satin edges etc they are expensive but recently I've gottem some older Bresnick types for between $10 and $30. They needed some cleaning but look like new now and shave great.
