Thanked: 154You use that very little and with a lot of care lol.
They are heavy, quite often made of poor steel (does not keep an edge for long), tendency to be true wedge so hard to hone.
The issue with the blades is not that they can hit each other, truly they are built so they can't.
The issue is that if you don't take care, the blade resting in the scales while you use the other can get out quite easily. So you focus half on your shave, and half on keeping the blade in the scales. You can use a rubber band, true, but then where is the fun lol.Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.
