Thanked: 10This One Really Caught Me Off Guard
So I was scouring the Ebay listings hoping beyond hope to get lucky and came across this. When I saw the initial pic I thought maybe hopeful??
Then I say the second pic with the blade almost broken in two by the grand canyon of all breaks. The seller says it's a chip. Now I have watched Brad Maggard of Maggard Razors' full video set of restoration from start to finish vids repair a 'multi-chipped' razor.
Maybe this seller just thinks someone would maybe just like to buy it to put it on display because it might remind someone of what grandpa used to shave with.

Why that be a razor specifically designed to shave under the nose. That's why the big notch.

I hope Grandpa didn't shave with THAT. Now we know how Grandpa went.

Thanked: 154Well... You'd be surprised actually.
A few years back I went to a collectors meeting and there was indeed there a razor collector. He was by no means a heavy hitter and was just the proud owner of a vast set of razors, and, if rare enough to be displayed (I am thinking for example of a 14 blade), the blade being heavily chipped was not an issue for him.
Like somebody I used to know would say when selling on flea markets :
Whatever you sell, every morning there is a dumbass who would buy it waking upBeautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.
