Default SRP Razor on the 'Bay

Just saw this one pop up on the bay, I feel like this may have been a group buy at some point here before my time.

I remember an SRP limited edition razor from years ago but not one that looks like the one linked to.

Yeah I remember this razor. Wow, already 20 years ago when there was only one “honemeister” and a plethora of amazing vintage razors to be had for a steal.

It sure is hard to find decent stuff on eBay these days with so many vendors competing to snatch them up and resell them.

Yea, I used to have 2 of those babies. They were nothing special just typical TI's. The handles were supposed to be boxwood or elder as I recall.

The next iteration was the good one with the blue scales and made by Robert Williams.

Yes, It was a group buy like the brush and Williams razor. I am thinking original purchase price was around $180. Any TI new for that price is good to go.

I will see what number mine is.

    I have 3 of those.
Looks like I will lose money on those if I sell them now.
Yes , the scales were made from boxwood.

I thought was good value for a TI razor. I wasn’t around on SRP 20 years ago but I did think it was good value for such a razor

That's too bad Randy, but probably true.
I don't think that too many people are willing to spend the money for a razor with a blade that has Lynn's autograph nowadays. Kinda meaningless.
