Default Etsy Sellers Must Be Tripping. $226 GD!

A W59. Price is a little high, but FREE SHIPPING! What are these guys smoking?

Maybe I should get in on some of that action. I could really scoop that guy, sell mine for $199.95 and clean up.

Funny enough I came across this the other day. All his razors are ridiculously overpriced. Just another scammer looking to get one over a stranger.

If you look at the reviews there is a few people that have brought that model. Doesn't say how much for though.
Bet your bottom (gold) dollar (sorry!!!) They sold more than the 2 dollars the vendor paid for them

Turns out he has done the same thing before, with a model 92. I had words with him then and I had words with him again today. So now I am blocked from his etsy page. darn. LOL I am happy and his digestion was disturbed and all is right in the world. I think I will list something on etsy just so I can include a nice letter with the razor explaining the straight razor facts of life to noobs who might buy from greedy lowlifes like that.

@markbignosekelly I bet he sold them to himself and wrote those reviews.

Apparently there are services you can hire to flood selling sites with false positive product reviews. Buyer beware!

I’ve seen this same thing happen on Amazon. A product has five star reviews but when you dig down, the reviews aren’t even for that product.

Etsy is an expensive auction site in my experience.

The prices made a lot more sense when it was all handmade items by individual artisans. It is sad really. If I didn't know anything about razors and thought I was buying someone a hand made custom razor $200 would seem like a good deal. That's why I hardly use the site any more.
If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.

It's not really an auction site, it's more storefronts under an umbrella. Ppl are always looking to scam greenhorns in every hobby and it stinks...
