Thanked: 4828For over $300 each I’d expect better pictures. It’s impossible to see what is there and the conditions. Someone is very hopeful.

Thanked: 4207Indeed they are Shaun. Nary a picture shows the blade condition or names.
But that math works out to 36$/blade not 300$ @ 700 blade lot.
Maybe he”d accept 14k for them all, and that’s still a risk.
I just thought it neat that that was an estate find, and a huge lot."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4828Them 0’s are a funny bunch, by themselves they are worthless, but put an extra one behind another number , and it way off.

I personally know the seller, and he is a great guy and a decent antiques seller. He obtained this extensive collection through an estate sale. However, since he primarily collects coins and stamps, he may not have the precise knowledge regarding the true value of each razor and as a result, he "estimated" what he believed to be a fair price for the entire lot.
I had the opportunity to meet with him few weeks ago and thoroughly examine each razor myself. Based on my assessment, I can confidently say that almost 99% of them would not even fetch $10 in the market. There are only a few razors that could be considered acceptable, and there are hardly any rarities or particularly unique pieces among them (and the few exceptional ones have now become a part of my own collection ).
