    Default What's going on here?

Okay, so a few days ago, I won this razor on eBay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190146675674

I placed an eSnipe bid for it and won. I probably paid too much for it, since I noticed (after winning) that there seems to uneven hone wear towards the tip (though I hope it's just the lighting).

Anyway, this razor turned up on eBay today:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190154028541

Look familiar? I emailed the seller to ask why the razor was for sale again, and his reply was simply: "This is another." Really? These pictures are clearly of the same razor!

So, what would you do in this situation?

I wouldn't worry about it at all. If the razor you recieve is not the one pictured then have a field day on the guy, until then don't sweat it. There are many Red Imps in the world.

    Alan,

at one point you couldn't find them and they cost much more, afair. People were paying over 50, sometimes close to 100 for them... (in better condition, I think)

Anyway - back to OP: maybe the guy reuses photos. He is selling off a collection. He is also a bit clueless on the condition. I know because I have bought from him.

I'd bet that the hone wear is real, not caused by lighting (if it's the same razor). Still - this price is not too high, imo.

Wait till you get it and then we'll see what's up

    Good luck

Yeah, I agree with Ivo - he probably reuses the pictures. It's easy to simply hit the 'sell another like this' button without changing a thing.

As the others had said - see what you get, if it's worse than pictured try to work with the seller, if it's better, well then you just got lucky

Looks like the 2 photos of the first razor are used again for the sale of the second razor but with the real picture of the second razor added to the bottom (rusty with lest hone wear)
