    This looks like a decent small hammered tang wedge for the price. what do you guys think. Here

    I don't think that razor is anything special . Looks like a hollow grind to me , pic is poor , looks like alot of hone wear . But for $4.99 , you can't go wrong (unless the scales are damaged on the other side) .

    Well it's definitely an off brand but it is hand forged, a little hone wear to me but like you say the pic is pretty bad.

    If you like the razor , then go for it ! For $4.99 you really can't go wrong . If the scales aren't broken , I would value them for at least $10.00 (YMMV) .

    Is that rust on the tang? It could just be badly rusted instead of hammered.

    FWIW, I played a little with the pic using photoshop (to bring out some of the detail) but was unable to tell for sure whether it was rust or hammered. If I had to guess, I'd say rust.

    I blew it up as well and it looks like it's cast. At first I thought It make for a good beginners razor not so sure now. I have one similar from Wester Bro's and it has a hand forged tang.
