    Default Sheffield resto challenge

I know some here are partial to Sheffield's:

I don't know if they are worth the effort, but just posting if anyone is a fan.

I'd go for it if I knew jack about resto work and I had a place to do anything of the sort.

start with a toothpaste and a brush... move up to MAAS then inspect the metal... take some wet/dry sandpaper around 200 grit and rub it until it shines... you will need to use sandpaper to at least 1000grit for a nice shine but 2k and 3k are better... sit in front of the TV and polish away... keep the paper wet it will last longer and cut better... when it it all bright and shiny let us know

what is am trying to say is you do not need much to begin restoring blades the biggest factor is time... but often i sit and polish while the kids are watching TV in the evenings... i can multi-task
    Be just and fear not.
