Thanked: 1Gunstock Sclaes
I'm not after this one, but I thought some of you would like the scales. the blade is described as "German made" and inscribes as made in Solingen.

I still swear those scales could have been made by gssixgun.

That one is gunstock for sure. Nice craftsmanship.

Thanked: 13249LOL no those are not my design, I have seen some vintage razors made with the gun-stock style, and I have seen a couple of these from this seller before... You would think that I would love this style but for some reason they just don't do it for me... He did a nice job though

Oh yeah, that's a good looking razor. Think I'll pick it up... if it shaves half as good as it looks, it's a keeper.

Hi-
I bought a razor from 4wwrepair a few months ago, and it's fantastic. Mine is a 6/8 Bengall with more traditional-looking scales. Paul is very nice, and very helpful.
He does a great job with the blade, and the scales all show fine workmanship. One thing to note is that he leaves the wood scales just a little bit rough. It's not unsanded or anything, but there's no CA or other thick finish on it. Some people like that, some people don't. Also, there are no liners, so make sure you thoroughly dry the blade so that you don't rot or swell the wood. Mine came fairly sharp, though Chris (c utz) was able to hone it to atom-splitting insanity.
I'm really happy with the razor I got from 4wwrepair, and I could definitely see myself buying another at some point.
