    Default Just bought this Genco

Just got this Genco off of ebay. I hope it comes in decent shape...he's got a little video on the bottom, but it's not too clear.

    Is that an alright price?

I'm no expert, but it looked to be in decent shape.

From what he shows it looks ok... genco./ geneva cutlerly razors are very nice and hone up fairly easy...

why do ebay sellers stress the box so much?

i think he said ir was the "old dutch" model, i have a "president" and a "henry's xx" model and they are both great shavers
    Be just and fear not.

It's a great price IMHO if it's in good shape. Those are nice shavers!

OMG I sort of have a little collection of Geneva Cutlery razors , I love them y'know I've passed up loads of genco's and it's only reading this thread that I've realised Genco = Geneva Cutlery ........

    I love my little Genco!

The one I picked up was to try out a spike point and is small (9/16). I didn't have very high expectations, but it is one of my favorites!

Excellent price depending on the condition of the blade (of course). If it is easily cleaned and no damage, I'd bet it will become a favorite of yours too.

Seems like the Gencos' are overlooked for now for the Ducks and such. Bully for us who might actually shave with them; keeps the prices affordable!

The steel feels every bit as good to me as top end German razors that I have.
