    He just replied to me:

    It is in excellent conidition, there are no nicks or chips on the blade. The are also no nicks, chips or cracks on the handle. I am not familar with the term scales? I added more pictures to the listing. The handles are still yellow color with gold lettering. The skeletons are gold in color ond fully intact.

    I'm trying to get better at identifying good/bad razors from Ebay listings and I can't see where the blade has been cut down. Could you describe what you see that tells you that? I haven't seen enough razors to "just know" yet.

    the blades is like 2 inches shorter than the scales.

    I cannot believe that razor sold for $185 you can see plain as day that it was shortened
