Thread: ebay confusion

I only made an ebay account a few days ago so I'm a newbie in that area as well.


But alot of ebay bidding histories confuse me, like this one for instance:

To me it looks like someone is trying to drive the price up as that one guy seems to be outbidding himself as I understand it.
If I'm mistaken please point out in what way.

When looking at bid histories, you need to look not only at the price bid but *when* the bid was placed. In the auction you posted hwilliams1951 was trying to beat the bid price of keremulu, but instead of just bidding what he was willing to pay, he kept bidding the minimum amount allowed to bid.
