I'm thinking I need to dig up my ducks and post to ebay. That's an incredible price for a DD... I don't really care for them myself.
I wonder if the new owner will open the box.

Thanked: 4I know a guy who has 7 of them, 7/8th blade, still in original wrapper. No kidding. Not my place to say who, but believe me there are more than this guy says there are. I also agree, for that much money you can get a great custom or a couple really nice W&Bs from Traveller.

I wrote him a question basically telling him he was all wet with his claim and to prove it. he never answered me. Who ever got it got hosed plain and simple. believe me there are plenty of those out there yet. Also his chronology of the company wasn't right. pearlson took over the company when the name changed to pearduck which was around WWll and maybe pearlson sold the company around 1957 but the company continued and still exists (in name only) today. Through the 1960s they continued selling straights (among many other things).

Thanked: 346NOS Wonderedges simply are not rare enough to command that kind of premium. Heck even NOS still-sealed-in-package W&B's don't command that kind of premium, and W&B stopped making razors over a hundred years ago.
