Thanked: 0How bad is this?

I was looking at his 8/8 and it ended up going for $330. That is waaaaay out of my price range, but what about this one? Is the chip something that can be repaired, or left and not cause damage? I really want a big blade like this, but can't find many and can't afford the ones I do. I am on a mission to find one like this, which will put an end to my RAD (I hope). What do you guys think about the chip on this one?

Thanked: 44Yeah I was there tuesday and it looked nice. It is a 7/8 and with W&B prices going nuts on a double duck scale it won't go for $330 but it will go above $100 I think. Good luck there

The chip and the ding in the scales might put some folks. It can be restored. Good luck.
And no, it won't end your RAD. It will only feed it. Remember RAD is good, RAD is good, RAD is good, RAD is good.

Thanked: 10I had Ken restore a Wade and Butcher for me and it came out beautiful. Sometimes a small fault, restored well, makes for a great bargain.

Ken, you're full of crap!
I agree with you though, so I guess we're both full of crap!
I'd go for that particular razor, just seems like an odd spot of a chip. Not a bad thing; it actually looks like it would be easier than most to recover from. I just have a feeling it will get pricy before it's over.

I gotta have it. I'll give you my Aspen lodge, my Prowler, my wife. Hell no, not my dog. I have my limits.
