Default 7 Day Straight Razor Set - Heljestrand No.31

Here comes some pain! This should be an exciting shootout, based on prices for these over that last couple of months. over or under $450.

I dunno. 7-day sets usually go for less than the sum of the individual razors. And those aren't in terribly great shape.

OTOH I'm not so certain that's faux tortoise...

I am tempted to ask the same question on the scales. I know two people who have that razor with real Tortoise scales, so they may be able to help.

    Kind regards,

Those will polish up fine. The only thing wrong with them is they aren't 8/8 polished spanish tip wedges with a barber notch in Amboyna.

I think it'll go over $450. Yesterday I was watching a Mark 31 blade (these are the Mark 32), and it went from $40 to $122 in the last 2 minutes.

    Ha ha!

I had my bid in on that blade, 5 minutes to go, I'm still winning it ($37!!), then I had to leave my desk.

I come back 15 minutes later, and WHAM! $122!

That 7 day set is in terrible shape, hardly worth the $100 currently being asked, just horrible, horrible....

See you in 4 days 3 hours...

I say it will go over! Not that I would (would if I could), but it will probably go over $450. Is that where you will bow out?

Wow that wasn't a bad price! I would have bought that but I have been too busy to look.
