Question Marshes & Shepherd Sheffield wedge

So i am a newbie (my first post) and i saw this on ebay and it seems like it would be a decent razor with some touch up. I am not familiar with this make though. Any thoughts on reasonable cost, quality, etc?

Are you new to the straight shaving? If so, I'd suggest you stay away from ebay for a while. You'll have better luck with shave ready blades off the BST forums here.

Nice razors on ebay also tend to skyrocket in the final minutes, so that's something to keep in mind as well.

That said, that is a good make of razor, but it says it has rust and there is no information about the state of the razor's edge.

Never shaved with a straight but i have been reading this forum for a couple of months now. I finally joined and was just trying to keep the costs really low. I like the larger razors with the notch in the point. There just seem to be so many options.

Unfortunately the larger razors tend to be more expensive, especially those made in Sheffield. Of course, the high price tags are for a reason, they tend to be great shavers.
